Another match spoilt by a totally incompetent referee! A very harsh red card plus so many fouls not awarded to Posh! Posh weren't allowed to touch a Leeds player without giving a freekick away! If the referee wasn't so biased and there had been 22 men still on the pitch at the end, the result would've been completely different. Hopefully, the incident involving Tomlin will show that it wasn't a red card and an appeal against it will be successful as Posh have some very hard games coming up over the next few weeks.

Comments added 25-Oct-11 - I've now seen the incident on TV from a different angle to where I was sitting and I have to agree it was a definite red card. I'm sure it was brought on by the referees refusal to allow George Boyd back on to the field of play, but even so, he should've shown more maturity to deal with his frustrations and played in the spirit of the game.

He will now be banned for at least 3 games and fined by the club for his actions.

Leeds know all about bad refs and Leeds players getting a early shower's...You lost to a better team so take it on the chin and stop going on like babies...If the Leeds keeper hadn't of made a few mistakes I don't think you would have scored at all...And the red card won't be rescinded your man went trough Keogh...

Leeds know all about bias reffing and enough extra time to get a result being handed out to the bigger side ... its a concept that was invented for your managers dad - felt brill to take you out in "fergie time"
simonfire1
oh and read the stats - Leeds had around twice as many shots, twice as many on target and committed around half as many fouls - and you act surprised when you lose game and have the worst of the card count
simonfire1
Definitely a red card and you have had half the attempts Leeds had. Back down to about 7,000 for your next home game, hope you enjoyed your cup final on Saturday.

Like his old man your boss winges when he doesn't get the call, another small town Club you'll be 1 season wonders and drop back to your normal level League 1

From where I was sat, I didn't think it was a red card but having seen it on TV from a different angle, it was definitely a red. Playing against a team with less men for two thirds of the match and an awful ref, you should have more shots than the opposition! Were you the better team? Posh came out in the second half and set about defending which was the wrong strategy as we aren't good enough to defend for 45 minutes. When we did decide to play our normal game, even with 10 men, it was a more even game...just look at the possession 50% - that tells you Leeds didn't have it all your own way! Lets see where we both end up at the end of the season! I was far from impressed with Leeds as I thought they'd be much better than they were. Oh, and can anybody tell me why the referee refused to allow George Boyd back on to the field and left him waiting on the sidelines for well over a minute??!? At least he let your players come back on straight away after making leave the field!! And as for being a Cup Final, I don't think so. I'll be there week in week out and will support my team through thick and thin...not like some "Posh" supporters who only turn up for the bigger games!
