The results are in for the Player of the Season and the Positional Awards for 2016/2017. We`ve seen the positional winners but who was the Peterborough United Player of the Season?

There were a total of 39 players that pulled on a Posh shirt in the 2016/17 season; three less than last season. All the players featured in the respective 'positional` polls but only players who played in at least 25% of this season`s 55 Posh matches were available for selection which means just 17 players were vying for your vote.

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Luke McGee won both the goalkeeper and loanee of the season with the defender, midfielder and forward winning votes going to Ryan Tafazolli, Gwion Edwards and Tom Nichols respectively.

Did one of these winners also win the Player of the Season voting?

Of the seventeen players up for nomination, just four players picked up votes ranging from 16.67% of the votes to 33.33% for the winner so it was very close.

Only three of the four "positional" winners picked up votes for the player of the season and it is no surprise that Tom Nichols was the one who failed to pick up any votes. The non-positional winning player that did collect votes was Michael Bostwick.

What order did they come though?
