Vital Posh MOTM Results -V- Brentford

Who has won Vital Posh Man of the Match for the Sky Bet League One match against Brentford? Find out the results

It was a very disappointing end to 2013 and a disappointing start to 2014 as Posh lost their third match on the bounce!

Not for the first time this season, a team sitting at the top of League One came to London Road but this time, the team in question was by far and away the most in-form side in the League.

A disputed penalty gave the hosts the lead after Olejnik brought down a Bees player outside of the penalty area but the woeful referee decided to give a penalty!!

Posh did get themselves back into the match following an excellent goal from Jack Payne but just three minutes later and the Bees took the lead and control of the match.

Some strange substitutions were made by Darren Ferguson taking off players who were actually playing well instead of others who were having a poor match and the players that did come on had no effect on the game at all!!

The Bees rounded off the scoring in the 90th minute as Posh were pushing for an equalizer but in the end the better team won.

Who won the Man of the Match award?
