Vital Posh MOTM Results -Vs- Leicester City

It was another outstanding result against one of the top teams of the Championship as Posh disposed of neighbours Leicester City 2-1.

Posh looked to contain their visitors and went into the break goalless but they suffered their usual slow start to the second half and went behind to a Ben Marshall goal just seven minutes after the turn-around.

However, Posh battled back and scored two excellent goals the first of which was from Manchester United loanee Davide Petrucci who was finally showing the form that many knew he had in him. Former skipper Grant McCann followed up Petrucci`s strike with a late winner with just two minutes remaining.

It was a crucial win which kept Posh on the toes of those just above them in the Championship and a performance that the whole team can be proud. They now need to show more consistency if they are to achieve their goal of survival.

After this good performance, who was voted the Man of the Match?
