Vital Posh MOTM Results -Vs- Barnsley

It wasn`t pretty but Posh came out on top of this relegation battle which also saw them move out of the bottom three.

Posh took the lead from a Bostwick thunderbolt of a freekick and were unfortunate not to have scored more in the first half as former Posh keeper Luke Steele kept his former employers at bay.

Barnsley came out fighting in the second half and thoroughly deserved their equaliser. At that point of the match, you could only see one team coming out on top and it wasn`t Posh!!

However, up stepped captain Tommy Rowe to seal all three points with a left footed shot from the edge of the area which nestled into the bottom of Steele`s net.

It was one of the worst football matches witnessed for quite a long time but who managed to win the Vital Posh Man of the Match?
