Vital Posh October Player of the Month Result

Vital Posh October Player of the Month Result

Having won their first League game in their final League game of September, Posh started October in confident mood and that transpired onto the pitch and ended with an opening win in their first game of October.

With a change in personnel and formation, Posh suddenly looked a hard team to beat and that continued for the rest of the month. Although they suffered two narrow 1-0 defeats in games they were unfortunate to lose, they finished the month off with two very good results when beating then 3rd placed Huddersfield 3-1 and Derby 3-0.

The players were re-paying the faith shown in them by Darren Ferguson even though many fans were starting to write the team off just a month earlier. Fergie is confident he has the best squad he`s ever had at Posh and that they will reach the 50 point target he believes will keep Posh in the Championship.

It`ll be a tough season ahead but if they can perform as they have during October, then there should be no doubt Posh will be playing Championship football for the third consecutive season.

Who, in your opinion, was the best player for Posh during October though?

The top three players for October`s Vital Posh Player of the Month, as voted by you, were:

3rd Place: 14% Nat Knight-Percival

2nd Place: 21% Mark Little
