'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Who's the Greatest Enemy?

Neither are in our league, but they are arguably Posh's greatest rivals - yes, we are referring to Northampton Town and Cambridge United.

The history of rivalry between United and the cobblers has run since the 1960s when the competition between the two local clubs was ignited. The club recorded their worst ever league loss against the League One side, thrashed 8-1 in the Second Round of the FA Cup.

In more recent years, Cambridge United have arguably been Posh's biggest enemy. But, now lingering towards the lower end of the Conference, have the U's lost touch with Peterborough?

There is little doubt that the debate will linger on for years to come, but we want to know your opinions... Who is the bigger rival - the Cobblers or the U's? Express your opinion on the forum, by adding a comment to this article, or by emailing peterborough@vitalfootball.co.uk

We sing songs about you and no one else. Despite the inbreds down the A45, the P**h are considered the main rivals of the Cobblers.

I'm going to have to say Cambridge to, i have a mate from Cambridge and although she doesnt like football, she is constantly telling me how her dad is always moaning about you guys. I remember going over his house for dinner one day, and the first thing he asked her new boyfriend "your not a posh fan are you" to which he replied I cant stand her lol as you can tell he doesnt like football.
