Posh At Home In FA Cup

Peterborough United have been given a home game against either Fleetwood Town or Leicester City in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup!

Posh have been awarded for their win over Championship side Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup with a home tie against either Fleetwood Town or Leicester City. Posh have never faced either side in the FA Cup.

The Cod Army and Foxes battled out a boring goalless draw in front of the TV cameras and will replay on Tuesday 16th January (7:45pm kick-off) at King Power Stadium.

Posh Chairman Darragh MacAnthony is hoping for a Foxes win as it would increase the chances of Posh being selected by the television companies who seem to be focussing all their attention on the Premier League clubs during their third round highlights with extended highlights of a few goalless draws while showing a fraction of the entertaining match that Posh was involved in!

The fourth round will take place over the weekend of the 27th and 28th January 2018.

With Posh still involved in the FA Cup, their scheduled league fixture with Bury has been postponed with a new date set to be confirmed shortly.
