'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mystery Surrounds Posh On Deadline Day

Posh Chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, last night caused a whirlwind of rumours and speculation after a tweet declaring 'Posh won't sign anyone on deadline day'. Now, this could mean one of two things: ether we won't have any new players at the club, or a deal for a player was done last night, and MacAnthony is winding Posh fans up as the deal is already done and just needs to be announced.

And it's that man at the forefront of the rumours again; Luke James - has he signed? Has he not? Only time will tell as we reach the deadline tonight. One thing is for sure, Darragh MacAnthony has certainly got the Posh fans speculating about any deals that may or may not have happened.

Darren Ferguson said in an interview that Luke James was Posh's only target, but also said that they wouldn't be upping their offer. Posh fans all seem to be in agreement that we need one more striker to complete our squad, that shows early signs of being capable of challenging for promotion back to the Championship.

Any news of incomings or outgoings on this deadline day can be found right here on vital posh, as soon as they happen!
