Peterborough United start the defence of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy at home.



Posh goalscorers Josh McQuoid Shaun Brisley and Britt Assombalonga



Posh couldn`t really have asked for a tougher challenge as they kick-off their defence of the JPT. League One rivals Leyton Orient will provide the opposition in the match which will take place during the week commencing 1st September.

The draw was divided into areas to keep it more localised with the area draw featuring Posh comprising of the following fixtures:

Crawley Town v Cambridge United
Posh v Leyton Orient
AFC Wimbledon v Southend United
Stevenage v Gillingham
