The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll is now up and running for the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Colchester United.

Grant McCann v Colchester

Posh took a big step towards the play-offs by winning the first of their two games in game over their nearest rivals. The 2-0 win over Colchester United moved Posh four points clear of seventh place thanks to a goal in each half.

Tommy Rowe got the ball rolling just before the half hour mark before Britt Assombalonga notched his 29th goal of the season after 65 minutes as Posh eased past lowly Colchester.

Grant McCann and Jack Payne played well together in the middle of the park while Josh McQuoid and Danny Swanson did well on the wings. Assombalonga was his usual quiet self but was in the right place at the right time to score the goal that made the night more comfortable for Posh.

What did you think to the overall performances of the players and manager Darren Ferguson?

Rate the players below and the player with the best rating will win the Man of the Match.

The poll is open until noon on Tuesday [8th April].
