MacAnthony on the verge

Some good news in a poor week for Peterborough United comes in the form of reports that Darragh MacAnthony is closing in on taking over the club from Barry Fry.

Due dilligence was always going to take longer than the 'month or so' that was quoted at the time he emerged on the scene.

Everyone will admit that the club is in a mess and that would need to be correctly unravelled the affectionately known D-Mac can assume complete control.

Once he owns the club, there is only one job left for him to do before the fans come flooding back...
