The man in charge of the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Rotherham United is CARL BERRY.
Carl Berry

Carl Berry is in his third full season as a Football League referee and has refereed Posh and the Millers just once.

The Posh encountered Berry last season when Midlesbrough walked away with all three points but only after Posh had come back from two goals down to level things thanks to a brace of goals from Dwight Gayle [pictured below celebrating against Middlesbrough] but Ishmael Miller scored the deciding goal 14 minutes from time. Just one yellow card was issued in the game which went to Lee Tomlin.

The Millers last had Berry officiate them in March 2012 when they won 1-0 against Plymouth Argyle. Lewis Grabban scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot after 70 minutes. The Millers also picked up the only yellow card of the match.

So far this season, Berry has refereed just 13 matches issuing 46 yellow cards and no red cards.

His last match came on Tuesday evening when he took charge of Crawley`s 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves` James Henry was the only recipient of a yellow card.

The assistant referees for this match will be Darren Blunden and David Rock. The fourth official is Mathew Buonassisi.
