The man in charge of the Sky Bet League One match between Milton Keynes Dons and Peterborough United is KEITH HILL.

Keith Hill

Posh will have very fond memories of the last match Keith Hill refereed them and would love to replicate the result. That match came in August this season when Championship side Reading turned up at London Road for a Capital Cup match. Posh thumped their visitors 6-0 thanks to goals from Britt Assombalonga, Danny Swanson, Jack Payne and a hat-trick for Lee Tomlin. Five yellow cards were issued in that game with just one for Posh which went to Jack Payne.

Prior to that match, it was back in March 2010 when Hill last took charge of a Posh match. On that occasion, Posh lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest thanks to a 13th minute Rob Earnshaw goal. Three yellow cards were issued in the match with all of them going to the home side.

The first ever time Hill officiated a Posh match was back in 1998 when goals from David Farrell and Guliano Grazioli gave Posh a 2-0 victory over Rochdale.

In total, Hill has refereed Posh 12 times with Posh winning eight of those matches and drawing just one. Can Posh make it nine wins?

The last time MK had Hill referee their match was in February last year when the Dons drew 1-1 with relegation doomed Portsmouth. Four yellow cards were shown in that match with just one going to MK.

So far this season, the Hertfordshire-based official has refereed 25 matches showing 86 yellow cards and three red cards!

His last match came on Saturday when he took charge of the Championship encounter between Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers. Wanderers won that match 5-1 while both sides had one player booked.

The last League One match Hill took charge of came in January when Rotherham United beat Crewe Alexandra 4-2. Six yellow cards were issued in that match which were split evenly between the teams.

The assistant referees for the Dons v Posh clash are Antony Coggins and Mark Howes. The fourth official is Ian Crouch.
