The man in charge of the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Walsall is GRAHAM HORWOOD.

Graham Horwood

The Luton based official joined the Football League in 2007 but has just returned from a two-year break from refereeing in the Football League.

Horwood has refereed both sides on four occasions; Posh have won once, drawn twice and lost once while Walsall have won once and lost the other three matches.

All four Posh matches refereed by Horwood has taken place at London Road. The last time came four years ago when Posh defeated Oldham Athletic 5-2 thanks to goals from James Wesolowski, Aaron McLean, George Boyd, Dave Hibbert and a last minute Grant McCann penalty. Seven yellow cards were issued in that match with three of them going to Posh.

The last time Walsall had Horwood officiate their match, they went down 2-1 at Brighton while they picked up the only yellow and red card of the match. Alex Nicholls received his marching orders after 72 minutes of the match.

So far this season, Horwood has refereed 18 matches issuing 61 yellow cards and just one red card which went to Northampton Town`s Ishmel Demontagnac in their 2-0 defeat at MK Dons.

His last match came last Saturday when he officiated the 3-3 draw between Bradford City and Crewe Alexandra. One yellow card was issued in the match which went to Aaron McLean strike partner James Hanson.

The assistant referees for this match will be Nicholas Kinseley and Paul Thompson. The fourth official is Andrew Fox.
