The man in charge of the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Colchester United is DARREN BOND.

Darren Bond takes a tumble during the Milwall 1-5 Posh match

Lancashire based Darren Bond will be visiting London Road for the second time this season after overseeing the 2-0 defeat by Crawley Town back in August. Bond has only refereed Posh on one other occasion and that came last season when Posh thumped Millwall 5-1 at The Den.

Bond is in just his second season of refereeing in the Football League and will be refereeing a Colchester United match for the first time ever.

So far this season, Bond has refereed 18 matches issuing 60 yellow cards and three red cards.

His last match came on Tuesday evening when he officiated Chesterfields 2-0 win at York City. Three yellow cards were issued in that match.

His last League One match came on Boxing Day when Rotherham United won a Yorkshire derby at Bradford City thanks to a Haris Vuckic goal. Seven yellow cards were shown in that match with five going to the visitors.

The assistant referees for this match will be Graham Kane and John Law. The fourth official is David Plowright.
