Posh Favourites To Beat Bantams

<div style='background-color: #005abb;'><a href='' title='news'>headlines</a></div>

Football League sponsors Sky Bet make Peterborough United favourites to beat League One rivals Bradford City.

The bookies obviously see the three recent wins and a draw in the last four matches played by Posh as a pointer to this weekends match against Bradford City. Posh have also kept three clean sheets during that recent sequence but Bradford won`t be pushovers.

The Bantams were promoted as League Two play-off winners last season and have done really well this season and sit one place outside the play-offs. They also have one of the most lethal strikers in the lower divisions in Nahki Wells. Wells is the League One top scorer with 14 goals although Posh`s Britt Assombalonga is in hot form with five goals in his last three matches.

City have drawn their last three matches 1-1 and are on a five match unbeaten run having beaten MK Dons and drawn 3-3 with Coventry City.

The Football League sponsors Sky Bet have Posh at 11/10 to beat Bradford with City at 5/2 for the win. The draw is priced at 12/5.

Sky Bet has a 1-0 Posh win with the lowest odds at 13/2. The lowest odds for a City win is 9/1 for a 1-0 win.

The current favourite prediction in the poll being run by Vital Posh is a 2-1 City win!

Britt Assombalonga v Gillingham

Posh top scorer Britt Assombalonga [pictured above] will be hoping to add to his 16 goals for the season and the bookies have him as the favourite to score the first goal of the match priced at 7/2. He is 10/11 to scre at any time during the match. Tyrone Barnett is next favourite with Lee Tomlin and Shaun Jeffers close behind. Barnett is priced at 5/1 to score the first goal with Tomlin and Jeffers 11/2. Ty is 11/8 to score at anytime with the latter pair 6/4 to score during the 90 minutes.

Nahki Wells is not surprisingly the favourite Bradford player to score the first goal of the game at 11/2 while he`s 6/4 to score during the match. Fellow strike partner James Hanson is next favourite priced at 8/1 and 11/4 respectively.
