Million poind bid turned down

Izale McLeod has been the subject of a million pound bid from new Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony.

The deal has fallen through as MK Dons wanted 1.5m for the hitman.

Poshs' previous record signing was midfielder Martin O'Connor at around 300k.

This would appear to be the culmination of the story which broke a couple of weeks ago regarding a POSH bid for a lower league hitman who was holding out for a return to the Premiership.

Amazing times at London Road!
