Million poind bid turned down

Izale McLeod has been the subject of a million pound bid from new Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony.

The deal has fallen through as MK Dons wanted £1.5m for the hitman.

Poshs' previous record signing was midfielder Martin O'Connor at around £300k.

This would appear to be the culmination of the story which broke a couple of weeks ago regarding a POSH bid for a lower league hitman who was holding out for a return to the Premiership.

Amazing times at London Road!
