Posh Clear Favourites To Beat Daggers In JP Trophy

Football League sponsors Sky Bet make Peterborough United clear favourites to beat League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge in today`s Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Quarter-Final match.

Posh got back to winning ways on Saturday and have lost just two games at home all season while visitors Dagenham and Redbrige have only won three away games.

Posh have done well in cup competitions so far this season and want to go all the way in the JP Trophy. Posh went out of the Capital One Cup in the third round when going down 2-0 while they advanced to the second round of the FA Cup at the weekend.

The Daggers haven`t fared so well in cup competitions this season going out in the first round in both the Capital One Cup (3-2 to Brentford) and the FA Cup (3-0 to Bristol City).

The Football League sponsors Sky Bet have Posh at 4/11 to beat Dagenham with the Daggers at 7/1 for the win. The draw is priced at 4/1.

A 2-0 Posh win is the favourite scoreline with the bookies priced at 6/1 with the lowest odds for a Daggers win put at 18/1 for a 1-0 and 2-1 win. The lowest priced draw is 8/1 for 1-1.

The current favourite prediction in the poll being run by Vital Posh is a 2-0 win for Posh which is priced at 6/1.A 3-0 Posh win is close behind in the prediction stakes and that is priced at 17/2.



Britt Assombalonga



Britt Assombalonga [pictured above] is the favourite to score the first goal of the game at 7/2 and 10/11 to score at any point in the match. Tyrone Barnett is second favourite to score the first goal at 4/1 with Shaun Jeffers priced at 5/1.

Saturdays goalscorer, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, is priced at 11/1 to score the first goal and 4/1 to score in 90 minutes.

Daggers top scorer Rhys Murphy is the favourite Dagenham player to score the first goal of the game. He is priced at 7/1 while he is12/5 to score in 90 minutes.
