Sunderland are the bookies favourites to beat Peterborough United in the Capital One Cup match.
Despite being bottom of the Premiership and managerless, Sunderland are the bookies favourites to win the third round Capital One Cup match with Peterborough United.
The Black Cats have only won once this season and that came in the last round when they disposed of MK Dons. In the League, they have picked up just one point!
Posh have started the season off very well winning 8 out of the 10 competitive matches they`ve played this season. They been in stunning form in the previous two rounds of the Capital One Cup when they travelled to Colchester and beat them 5-1. The second round was even more emphatic as they demolished Championship side Reading 6-0!
You can never go on form when Cup matches are played which is why the bookies make Sunderland favourites to win the tie. The Black Cats are 4/5 for the win with Posh priced at 100/30. The draw as at 90 minutes is 13/5 with the Football League sponsors Sky Bet.
A 2-1 Sunderland win has the lowest odds at 15/2 along with 1-1. The lowest odds for a Posh win is 12/1 and that is for a 2-1 win.
