Vital Posh MOTM -Vs- Bristol City (Poll)

The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll is now up and running for the Sky Bet League One match between Bristol City and Peterborough United.

Britt Assombalonga v Bristol City 2

Back to winning ways for Posh after two below par performances but they didn`t have it all their own way and in truth scored against the run of play.

It was reformed frontman Tyrone BARNETT who put Posh ahead mid-way through the first half. A 25-yard power-driver from left-back Craig Alcock could only be parried by goalkeeper Frank Fielding and it was Barnett who mopped up to put Posh ahead.

Moments later Posh could`ve doubled their advantage after Assombalonga was felled inside the box for a penalty but Fielding chose the right way to save Tomlin`s penalty.

One time Posh target Marlon Pack was impressive for the home side but he couldn`t stop Posh from getting their second of the match in the second half. The tricky Danny Swanson fed Britt ASSOMBALONGA who unleashed an unstoppable shot into the corner of the net for goal number two.

Posh managed to snub out any threat from City to avoid a nail-biting finish and went further ahead with three minutes of the match remaining. It was the other Danny this time, Kearns, who fed ASSOMBALONGA who beat his man before finishing with a delightful dink over Fielding for a convincing Posh victory.

After a much improved performance (and result), what did you think to the players performance?

Rate the players below and the player with the best rating will win the Man of the Match.

The poll is open until midnight on Friday [19th September]. Results will be announced the following day.
