Youngsters Make Loan Moves

Three Peterborough United youngsters are going out on loan.

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has confirmed that youngsters Shaq McDonald and Michael Richens are following Peter Grant out of London Road on loan.

"We`ve managed to get one or two out. Peter Grant is having a spell at Histon and Shaquille McDonald will have a spell there. Michael Richens has a move to Nuneaton which is a really good move for him. I`m pleased them three will get games at a more competitive level.

Peter Grant v QPR

"Peter Grant [pictured above] has already played a couple of games there [Histon], done very well and enjoyed it. Shaquille will start this Saturday, they`ve also got a game on Tuesday and Michael likewise, he`ll train with Nuneaton tonight and he`ll start with them on Saturday.

"Grant is a great talker. In fact he is the best talker in the squad in terms of organising what`s around him. Great lad, great pro, he never gives me a problem. He`s very mature.

"I`m pleased he`s gone out and got games because he had an awful injury last season and we`ll just have to see how he goes. His attitude alone gives him a chance.

When asked about players coming in, Fergie was less enthusiastic when he said: 'In terms of coming in, nothing will be happening in the immediate future if at all.'
