Vital Posh looks at the form of both Bristol City and Peterborough United ahead of this weekend`s Sky Bet League One match.
Both teams suffered relegation from the Championship last season and have had differing starts to the season.
Posh sit in third place with four wins, one draw and one defeat while the Robins sit in 20th place and are only out of the relegation places thanks to having a better goal difference to Gillingham who are level with them on three points!
The Robins have seen a major overhaul in their squad since they suffered relegation from the Championship last season. The number of changes has obviously had an impact and will take a while for the new players to gel.
They are difficult to beat though as they`ve only lost two out of five matches and they were by the odd goal. The other three League matches finished as draws. The two defeats were 2-1 at home to Wolves and 5-4 away to Coventry.
They have had more success in the Cups having won both Capital One Cup matches and a first round derby match in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.
City started off the season against last seasons League Two Play-Off champions Bradford City. Despite twice taking the lead, Bradford hit back on both occasions to earn a share of the points.
Their next match must be one of the season`s most entertaining matches. They found themselves 3-0 down at half-time at Sixfields Stadium but within 30 minutes of the re-start, they`d drawn themselves level with Coventry. The 3-3 scoreline didn`t last long as Coventry re-established their lead just a minute later. With just five minutes remaining of the match, the Sky Blues were hoping they could hang on for the win but Marvin Elliott had other ideas by equalizing again. Surely that would be that? Nope. Coventry had the final say with three minutes remaining by hitting the winner with the final score ending up as 5-4 to Coventry!
Three cup matches have seen three wins for the Robins so far this season. City won 2-0 away at Gillingham in the first round of the Capital One Cup before defeating Premiership newboys Crystal Palace 2-1 in the second round.
In the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy first round, the Robins were drawn against their city rivals Rovers. A goal in each half sandwiched a single Rovers goal was good enough for the win.
Bristol have scored ten goals in their five League matches while conceding twelve so we could be in for a high scoring game. One time Posh target Sam Bladock is the Robins joint leading scorer this season with five goals. He is tied with former Arsenal product Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. Marvin Elliott and Scott Wagstaff both have two goals each.

Posh have certainly maintained their scoring record this season having found the back of the net 25 times in 8 competitive matches this season while they`ve only conceded 8 goals.
As has been the case for many years, the goals have been spread around the team with 10 different players scoring one or more goals this season. Lee Tomlin is the leading scorer for Posh so far this season with 6 goals but he is closely followed by Britt Assombalonga (5 goals) and Tyrone Barnett (4 goals).
