Vital Posh looks at the form of both Peterborough United and reading ahead of the Capital One Cup Round Two clash at London Road.
Peterborough United entertain Reading at London Road hoping to get revenge for last season round two defeat by Reading at the Madjeski Stadium.
Posh have made a perfect start to the season winning all five competitive matches while Reading have made a steady start to life back in the Championship after being relegated from the Premiership last season.
Five wins out of five; you can`t get much better than that!
It`s a far cry from last season when Posh lost their first 7 League matches of last season, while winning their first round Capital One clash with Southend United.
Two home wins, two away wins and a Capital One Cup match win has seen Posh hit 17 goals while conceding just four goals. The goals have been spread around the team as well with record signing Britt Assombalonga [pictured below] just ahead in the scoring stakes with four goals so far. Fellow striker Tyrone Barnett has three goals; as has Tommy Rowe and Lee Tomlin while Grant McCann (2), Mark Little and Gaby Zakuani have also featured on the score sheet this season.
Posh currently sit in second place in League One behind Leyton Orient on goal difference.
