Frenchman On Trial At Posh

Peterborough United are giving a 23-year-old Frenchman a trial!

Yohann Lasimant

The young Frenchman is currently a free agent after finishing last season with Greek outfit Larissa.

Yohann Lasimant played six matches for the Greek side without scoring a goal. Prior to this, he has featured in the French Ligue 2 where he has played over 40 matches in the last couple of seasons scoring three goals! He has played for three French teams - Rennes, Sedan and Grenoble.

He has also played for his country at Under 19 and Under 20 level.

Posh are looking at him as a possible forward option even though he has spent most of his career playing in midfield or on the wing. He is due to play some part in the pre-season friendly with QPR at the weekend as Posh cast their eye over him. He has already had a trial at League One rivals Leyton Orient.

It's always had to judge what players are like via a youtube clip but what are your thoughts on Yohann? Could he fit in at Posh? He certainly looks like he could do a job on either wing but as a forward? Not from this showing!

Let's see how he gets on against QPR and see what Posh make of him.
