'If It's Football, It's Vital'

MacAnthony promises millions

Darragh MacAnthony waltzed into London Road yesterday and immediately pledged Premiership football for Peterborough.

He has invested enough to be Chairman of the club, but Barry Fry remains owner (and of course Colin Hill owns the ground).

Having said that, MacAnthony told the local media that it was 'millions, not thousands' that were going to be invested into POSH and that he 'wasnt going into this expecting a return'.

Which is a good thing really!!

His targets are listed below...

7 years - Premiership

0 years - Europe

lub to own its own ground, preferably 30,000 all seater

otential to match that of Reading

..If he achieves half of that he will be a hero!!!

We at positiveposh wish Darragh all the very best of luck.

He's a very very ambitious man aint he? I would give you 10 years to get in the premiership it just seems too much to do in 7 years. But anything can be done in the great game of football.
