UPDATE: 12:30pm 18/01/2013

Posh held a pitch inspection at 12:30pm today [Friday 18th January] with the pitch being deemed playable. However, another inspection will take place tomorrow morning.

Posh are due to host promotion chasing Hull City tomorrow at London Road and the Humberside team are due to set off for Peterborough at 2pm today.

Snow covered the pitch at the beginning of the week but this was removed and a cover placed over the pitch.

However, with temperatures remaining around freezing all week and with snow heading east, it all looks like a postponement is on the cards although the Posh ground staff are confident the match will go ahead.

Vital Posh will bring you further updates in due course.
