Vital Posh MOTM Results -Vs- Bristol City

With Posh looking for their fourth win a row combined with playing against the team at the bottom of the Championship, it was a massive blow to lose this match.

City started the brighter with Posh looking like they were still at their hotel and it didn`t take long for the home side to take the lead.

If that start wasn`t bad enough, things got even worse when Posh striker Lee Tomlin was very harshly sent off for what was no more than a shove after the City defender had pushed and tugged Tomlin. However, that small shove allowed the cheating City player to fall down like a sack of spuds holding his face!

Posh did battle back and were rewarded with a penalty after George Boyd was brought down in the area by the goalkeeper. Somehow the keeper escaped with just a yellow card even though Boyd could`ve got to the ball and turned it in for the equaliser!

Posh now had something to battle for and battle they did. Unfortunately they couldn`t keep the home side out and conceded three more times before Dwight Gayle scored for the sixth match in a row to make the scoreline more respectable.

Although it was a disappointing result, who won the Man of the Match?
