Peterborough United midfielder Danny Kearns could be heading out of London Road again!

The young Irish midfielder was only signed by the London Road outfit last season and despite his obvious skill, enthusiasm and ability, he may be surplus to Darren Fergusons plans!
Kearns was outstanding for Posh in pre-season and was unfortunate to suffer a serious injury during the Aston Villa game. He fought his way back to fitness and went out to League Two York City to bolster his match fitness. During his 12-match loan spell, he was often instrumental at Bootham Crescent and put in many man of the match performances.
When he was recalled from his successful loan by Posh, it was expected the 21-year-old would make an immediate impact on the Posh team. Amazingly, he has yet to set foot on the pitch since his return!
Posh have been playing well recently but surely he's deserved his chance even for a 5-10 minute cameo appearance?
If he is to leave, whether it be on loan or permanently, York would be keen to have the player back on their books.
Speaking to The York Press, York City manager Gary Mills said: 'He's available again, although I've heard he might be going to Rotherham.
'The problem we have is with the money side of things, whether that's a transfer fee or to do with his salary. 'It's unfortunate that we can't compete with the likes of Rotherham in that respect, because he did well for us and he would be an option out wide for me at the moment.
'We all know the qualities he has got and you never know what might happen.
'It could come down to whether we can make Peterborough an acceptable offer but I don't know whether we are in a position to do that.'
Should Posh let Kearns leave permanently or should he leave on loan to gain further experience? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
