Ref Watch: Peterborough United v Bolton Wanderers
The man in charge of the npower Championship match between Peterborough United and Bolton Wanderers is NIGEL MILLER.
The infamous Mr Miller returns to London Road for his regular season visit as last season`s Premiership outfit Bolton Wanderers visit Posh for the first time in 18 years.
The former policeman is a regular visitor to London Road and often referees at least one Posh home match per season. Last season he oversaw the entertaining 4-3 win over Cardiff City in which Posh came from 3-2 down with 3 minutes remaining to win the match thanks to late goals from a Grant McCann penalty and a late Paul Taylor winner.
Two yellow cards were issued in that match with one going to the home sides George Boyd.
Bolton have been fortunate to not have had the Durham based official take charge of their matches on such a regular basis. The last time was back in the 2009/10 season when he took charge of their Carling Cup away match at Tranmere. Bolton won that match 1-0 while just one yellow card was issued which went to the hosts.
Millers last Championship match was at the end of November when Derby County beat Birmingham City 3-2 at home. Both teams received one yellow card each.
His last outing came two weeks ago in a stormy match between Coventry City and Walsall. The home side won 5-1 but six yellow cards were issued in that game along with one red card.
