Sinclair Departs On Loan

Striker Emile Sinclair has left London Road on loan.

Sinclair has agreed to sign on loan at fellow Championship side Barnsley until 19th January, 2013.

He is one of the four 'rebels' who dared to go out on the town after the recent defeat to Crystal Palace. Although he wasn't one of the two players arrested during that night out, he was placed on the transfer list for 'footballing reasons'.

He has scored three goals this season, all of which came against Hull City at the KC Stadium. He has only started five matches this season with eight other appearances coming from the bench.

Sinclair burst onto the scene when making his first start for Posh last season after signing from relegation doomed Macclesfield Town. He scored a brace against Burnley and went on to make 36 appearances, 14 of which coming from the bench, scoring 10 goals.

Posh are due to host Barnsley on New Years Day, but Sinclair will not be allowed to play in that match.

With two strikers departing in the past two days, it is vital Darren Ferguson brings in new blood to help bolster his dwindling side.
