Frecklington Joins Millers On Loan

Peterborough United midfielder Lee Frecklington has joined League Two side Rotherham United on loan.

The 27-year-old has joined the Millers on an initial one-month loan. Frecks joined up with his new team-mates and Millers manager Steve Evans today [Friday, 19th October] and will be included in the squad for tomorrows game against Aldershot.

His early Posh career was injury plagued and was placed on the transfer list at the end of the 2010/11 season. However, having regained his fitness, he made an impact on all the players and management during the 2011/12 pre-season which saw him taken off the transfer list. He ended up playing 39 games for Posh last season scoring 5 goals.

He again started this season as part of the first team and played the first five league games, which all ended in defeat for Posh, before being dropped for below par performances. He hasn't featured in the last three games though which have resulted in two wins and a narrow defeat.

Frecklington needs to regain his form if he is to resurrect his Posh career as an in-form Frecks would prove very beneficial to the Posh squad. However, having not been on top of his form for all of 2012, this loan period could prove crucial as it could determine whether he gets to put on the blue Posh shirt again.
