After three League defeats out of three in August, Posh were hoping their fortunes would change in September. Unfortunately, the first four League matches in September all ended in the same result.
However, a change in personnel saw six changes made to the starting line-up and along with it a new 3-5-2 formation saw Posh finally get off the mark with an impressive 3-1 win at Hull City in the last match of September.
Darren Ferguson has once again set Posh a target of 50 points to achieve safety and signs are Posh are starting to adapt to life in the Championship again after a very poor start.

Not surprisingly, Posh are propping up the Championship having been in 23rd place at the end of August. Crystal Palace were the team beneath Posh at the end of August, but they have gone on an impressive run and are moving up the table fast.
Posh are only three points behind Ipswich Town and four points behind Millwall and newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday.
