Ref Watch - Barnsley v Peterborough United

The man in charge of the npower Championship match between Barnsley and Peterborough United is DEAN MOHAREB.

After having Posh`s lucky charm refereeing on Saturday in the form of Premiership referee Michael Oliver, Posh now have a rookie taking charge of this match against Barnsley.

Dean Mohareb, who is employed by The FA as a National Referee Development Manager, has only refereed one Championship game before and that came midway through last season.

He has taken charge of seven matches this season - three League Two games, three League One games and one Capital One Cup game. The Cup game was the round one match between Derby and Scunthorpe which ended 5-5! He issued 5 yellow cards in that game while 14 yellow cards and one red card have been shown in the other six matches.

As you would expect, this will be the first time he has officiated both Posh and Barnsley.
