Vital Posh MOTM -Vs- Leeds United (Poll)

Another defeat for Posh makes it three defeats in a row but there were a lot more positives to take out of this match.

A sloppy first goal conceded by Posh following a pathetically poor headed pass by Alcock failed to reach Bostwick and the Whites raced away and squeezed the ball past Olejnik despite the keeper getting a hand to the ball.

Posh had plenty of the ball following the goal but failed to create too many chances as they went in 1-0 down at half-time.

Another early goal was conceded in the second half which saw Becchio saw his and Leeds goal tally for the match double as he scored with an easy, unchallenged headed at the back post.

Posh should`ve had a penalty when Tomlin was fouled just inside the box but the poor referee awarded a freekick on the edge of the box. Vital Posh would like to see that incident again to see if it was inside the box or not. Posh continued to push forward but it wasn`t until the introduction of attacking right back Mark Little and midfield dynamo Danny Swanson came on for Alcock and Frecklington that Posh started to move the ball forward quicker and look more dangerous.

Posh got a consolation goal through a half volley from Bostwick from just outside the box following a corner but try as they did, Posh just couldn`t get that second goal which they fully deserved.
