Vital Posh MOTM Results -Vs- Southend United

The first match of the season and a Cup match to boot. Posh hosted League Two side Southend United in what turned out to be a rather one sided affair!

Goals from Lee Tomlin, Paul Taylor, Joe Newell and George Boyd eased Posh into round two of the Capital One Cup where they will travel to Premiership side Reading.

It was a good all round display but only one player could end up as the Vital Posh man of the match.

So who was the first man of the match for Posh in 2012/13?

The top three players as voted by you in the Man of the Match for the Southend United match were:

3rd Place: 9% Kgosi Ntlhe

2nd Place: 15% Craig Alcock

1st Place: 42% LEE TOMLIN

The next Man of the Match poll is up and running on the right hand side. Results will be announced on Wednesday 22nd August.
