Peterborough United have confirmed the signing of Stevenage midfielder Michael Bostwick for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old, who was Darren Ferguson's number one target this summer, has signed a three-year contract for the London Road outfit and flew out from Luton with the rest of the Posh squad this morning to their pre-season training camp in Portugal.
Bostwick becomes Fergusons sixth new player of the summer which has seen the club pay out over £1.5 million in transfer fees!

Bostwick played an instrumental part in Stevenage earning back-to-back promotions from the Conference to League One and had another excellent campaign last season which saw Stevenage lose the League One Play-Off Semi-Final to Sheffield United.
Bostwick started his career at Millwall playing regularly for the club's Under-18 side and reserve team. He joined Conference National side Crawley Town on work experience during the latter stages of 2005-06 season at the age of 17 before returning to Millwall where he signed a new one-year contract with the club.
Despite going back to Crawley, he was deemed surplus to requirements at Millwall. He signed an 18 month contract for Rushden & Diamonds but only managed to play eight games before being released at the end of the 2006-07 campaign.
He joined Ebbsfleet United in August 2007 where he played regularly and he helped them to win the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium in May 2008.
Despite the success at Ebbsfleet, Bostwick left the club just 10 days after the successful day out at Wembley and signed for Stevenage.
He became a regular for Stevenage playing in defence and midfield throughout the season. He also won the FA Trophy for the second season running!
His second season at the club saw him help Stevenage finally gain Football League status before helping them to a second successful promotion; this time via the League Two Play-Offs where they beat Torquay United at Old Trafford.
Bostwick will make an excellent addition to the Posh squad.
On behalf of Vital Peterborough and all of the Posh fans, we would like to welcome Michael to the football club, and wish him all the best during his time here.
