Powell On His Way To Posh? - UPDATED
Is Crewe's Nick Powell on his way to Posh via Manchester United?
Our friends at Vital Manchester Utd are suggesting the Under 18 star forward is destined for a £3 million move to the Red Devils but with the player being loaned out immediately for a season long loan.
Crewe could benefit from this by getting the player back for another season, but Vital Manchester Utd have had reports suggesting Sir Alex would like the youngster to head to his son at Championship side Peterborough United.
However, Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has recently announced that he wouldn't be looking for loan deals after the disappointment of last seasons loans which included Ryan Tunnicliffe and Scott Wootton from Manchester United.
Crewe Alexandra could end up receiving double the initial £3 million depending on the youngsters progress.
Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed to Vital Posh that Posh are not interested in loan deals meaning Powell wouldn't be heading towards London Road: "Not interested in loans this season at all."
