Yet Another New Home Kit For Posh!!

Peterborough United have announced that they are to introduce a new home strip for the forthcoming season!

Despite assurances from Chairman Darragh MacAnthony a few of seasons ago saying that Posh would only change their kit every two years, circumstances have dictated that this has not been possible with new kits each year!

Kit manufacturers and sponsor changes have been the reason over the past couple of years, but the club haven't provided a reason for this latest change!

They have released a statement on their website which states:

The football club wish to announce that it will be introducing a new home strip for the forthcoming 2012-13 season.

Whilst it is the intention of the club to keep change to a minimum, circumstances have made this replacement unavoidable and we also recognise the current difficult financial climate.

We are working closely with our shirt sponsor, the Peterborough Renewable Energy Group, with the selection of the new strip and they are delighted with the outcome and we are hoping you, our supporters will agree, and whilst we would encourage as many of you as possible to buy the new home shirt, it is of course down to choice. We will reveal the design shortly.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans for their continued support throughout the closed season with nearly 4,500 season tickets sold once again.

Enjoy the rest of the summer.
