New Physio Joins Posh

Peterborough United have appointed Chris Burton as their new physiotherapist.

Burton has previously worked at Championship sides Barnsley and Hull City as the physiotherapist.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson admitted he was pleased to have Burton at the club: 'I am delighted to get him on board. I interviewed him along with a few others, but it was an easy decision for me to make.

'He has excellent experience for his age. He has worked for Hull and Barnsley and has all of the medical requirements needed.

'He will work very well with Ben Mackenzie and for me, it is a key area for the football club I think we needed to improve.

'We will have a small squad and I am very pleased to get him on board to work closely with the staff we have here.' Ferguson added.
