'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital Posh MOTM -Vs- Watford (Poll)

Posh hosted their final home match of the season safe in the knowledge that they`d be playing Championship football again next season.

Posh were looking to sign off in style and ensure they don`t lose their third match in a row at home. They did manage to halt the run of defeats but their performance was again poor.

Posh did manage to take the lead though through a Lee Tomlin penalty after Paul Taylor was brought down in the area but they were fortunate to be on level terms at the break after Watford dominated the rest of the half and hit the woodwork on two occasions!

Watford took the lead early in the second half from a freekick where Murray just had to chip the ball over the wall and into the net as Jones did his usual awful positioning! Posh did come to life for a while in the second half when they got themselves level following an excellently worked corner routine which resulted in Paul Taylor [pictured below] smashing the ball into the net from outside the area.
