Peterborough United v Leicester City - Form Guide

Peterborough United entertain local rivals Leicester City at London Road on Saturday looking for three vital points that will go a long way towards Championship safety.

After surrendering to a competent West Ham side on Tuesday night, Posh are desperate to get back to winning ways.

Leicester also failed to win on Tuesday, but they did pick up a point when drawing 0-0 with lowly Nottingham Forest.

Peterborough United

After putting up a good 45 minute first half performance on Tuesday against West Ham, Posh lacked any sort of belief that they could get anything out of the game after going a goal behind eventually going down 2-0. That was Posh`s fifth defeat in seven games!

Posh currently occupy 18th place in the Championship with 44 points from 39 games and are just 9 points from the relegation positions with 6 games remaining of the season.

So far this season at home, Posh have won nine, drawn two and lost eight. They have netted 37 times while conceding 32 goals.

Paul Taylor is the top League scorer for Posh this season with 10 goals. Emile Sinclair and Grant McCann both have 8 goals each while Lee Tomlin and George Boyd are close behind on seven goals. Tyrone Barnett [pictured below] has 17 League goals which includes four goals for Posh.

Posh have now gone 114 games since they last finished a League game goalless! That was away at Ipswich on 8th December 2009.
