Posh interested in Bean ?

Brentford midfielder Marcus Bean looks set to depart Griffin Park when his contract expires in the summer and there are a number of clubs believed to be interested in him.

The 27-year-old has been at Brentford for four years and has played in over 100 games for the club but the Jamaica international looks set to depart Griffin Park.

Brentford would like Bean to sign a new contract and they actually turned down a number of loan enquiries before the loan deadline shut last week.

There are clubs in both England and Scotland who are believed to be interested in signing up the battling midfielder with the likes of Peterborough, Coventry, Wycombe, Stevenage, Motherwell and Hibernian looking at Bean, who would be available on a free transfer come the end of the season.
