This was another match where Posh had some neat play and indeed dominated for the first 20 minutes, but as we have seen on many occasions they couldn`t find that final pass and ultimately paid the price.
A calamitous 6 minutes which saw three goals from two corners and a long throw all but killed off the match.
The first corner went straight over a crowd of players and despite Lewis` best(!) effort to reach the ball, there were just too many people in his way and the ball went in at the back post.
Why don`t Posh have any players on the post for corners? The number of goals we could`ve saved by having players on the post this season is becoming ridiculous and you have to blame the tactics employed by Fergie & Co.
The second corner was met firmly by Gestede who lost his marker Briggs while the third goal was absolutely awful. A long throw was missed by Tommy Rowe and the ball fell kindly to Vuckic who just wandered past the onlooking Posh players and place the ball past Lewis who stood no chance.
Fergie brought three subs on. Just before half time, Mark Little came on for the injured Zakuani who was having a very poor game. Boyd and Ball were also quite rightly replaced early in the second half by Tomlin and Sinclair.
Paul Taylor did get a consolation goal in the first minute of added time as he danced past a couple of players before chipping the ball past the Bluebirds keeper Marshall.
Gestede was quite rightly named City Man of the Match but who gets your vote for the Posh Man of the Match?
To cast your vote for the man of the match against Cardiff City, add your vote on the poll down the right hand column of the site.
Results will be announced on Saturday [18th February, 2012].
