Vital Posh looks at the form of both Peterborough United and Birmingham City ahead of the first clash of 2012 at London Road.
These two sides only met six weeks ago at St Andrews where they played out a 1-1 draw.
The Posh goal was the 100th League goal scored by Posh in 2011 and it was a cracker from skipper Grant McCann (pictured below celebrating his goal against Birmingham).
Posh are on a four game unbeaten run having earnt 1-1 draws away at Leicester City and Middlesbrough while beating Coventry City 1-0 at home, their first clean sheet of the season, which was followed up by the second clean sheet of the season when they won 1-0 away at Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day.
So far this season at home, Posh have won six, drawn one and lost four.
Posh have netted 26 times at home this season, conceding 19 goals on the way. Only Southampton have scored more goals at home than Posh this season.
Top scorer is injured skipper Grant McCann who has scored 8 goals this season.
Posh are currently in 15th place with 32 points from 24 games. Seven points off the play-offs and eleven points from relegation.
Posh have gone 99 League games since they last played in a goalless draw!!

The Blues had an emphatic 3-0 over Blackpool in their last outing and will be confident going into the game against Posh even though they have a relatively poor away record this season.
So far this season away from home, Birmingham have won two, drawn two and lost seven.
The Blues have scored 13 goals away from home this season, conceding 19 on the way.
Top scorer is former Posh target Chris Wood with 9 goals so far this season.
Birmingham are currently in 12th place with 33 points from 21 games. They have played less games than most in the Championship due to their involvement in the Europa League.
