Head to Head - Peterborough -Vs- Birmingham

Vital Posh looks at previous matches between Posh and Birmingham City.

Peterborough United face another tough challenge when Birmingham City visit London Road for the first npower Championship game of 2012.

With just nine League games and one Associate Members game, matches between these two teams are few and far between.

Apart from one League match, all the games have been close affairs but Posh do have the upper hand in the games player at London Road with two wins and a draw from their four matches played there.

Overall, Birmingham just have the edge in the nine League games winning three and drawing four, with Posh winning the other two games.

These two teams met just six weeks ago when they battled out a 1-1 draw. Prior to that, the last time they met at London Road was in the 1994/95 season when Ken Chalery and Peter Shearer scored to tie the game 1-1.
