New Recruits To Make Their Posh Debuts

New Posh recruits Emile Sinclair and Danny Kearns will make their Posh debuts in a friendly at St Albans.

The match will take place at 7:30pm on Monday 5th September and it will give Darren Ferguson the opportunity to see his new recruits alongside other recent acquisitions Ben Gordon and Josh Thompson who arrived on loan deals from Chelsea and Celtic respectively.

Goalkeeper Joe Lewis will be making his first appearance of the season following his knee injury suffered in the League One Play-Offs last season.

Nicky Ajose, a summer recruit from Manchester United, has played just 22 minutes of first team football in the Championship but he is expected to play as well as he looks to recover from his hamstring injury.

Ferguson is happy with his recruits and in particular 20 year-old Kearns.

Speaking to the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, Ferguson said: "Daniel is a very good player. He is intelligent on the ball and has a lot of potential.

He can play on either flank and gives us something that we were lacking a bit. I have seen him play quite a bit and I am delighted to get him in."
