Yeo transfer ends Semply

Ryan Semple has left POSH to join Lincoln City.

The player asked Keith Alexander for a transfer over the weekend having felt he would not be part of the new managers plans next season.

Semple was educated at Peterborough school Arthur Mellows and his progress to their first team had initially been rapid.

It was held up by injury but Semple may still set League Two alight.

Alexander wanted Simon Yeo from his old club and the two clubs have reached an agreement which ensures that POSH will not be subject to a complaint from the IMPs now that they have given Lincoln Semple.

Yeo was a good player though. Hope that hasn't changed since he went down under. Could be a great acquisition for Posh
