Peterborough United may have struck gold in looking for a replacement for outgoing shirt sponsor Hotpoint.
The Italian owned company decided not to renew its deal earlier this year.
Local media is reporting that national football magazine '4-4-2' is looking to take over the vacant space on the clubs shirts for next season.
The stumbling block which would appear to prevent the deal being officially announced is that club owner Barry Fry is insistent they sign a two year deal to avoid fans having to lash out for more than one home kit in the next two campaigns.
More to come no doubt.
