Huddersfield 3-2 Peterborough (JPT)
Peterborough's 2nd half fightback wasn't enough as they lost at Huddersfield on Tuesday to be eliminated from the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Carey (6) and Pilkington (12) got Huddersfield off to a fantastic start and before the half hour mark the game looked over as Pilkington (24) added his second and the home sides third.
Whatever was said at half time had an instant impact as Mclean (51) pulled one back for Peterborough, although ultimately Little's (87) goal proved nothing more than a consolation at Huddersfield hung on for a 3-2 win.
